Need to put something about my work for Ricoh here

In Fujitsu I was involved in providing a technical support for engineers during the Morrison’s Windows 10 deployment programme. That task required exceptional communication skills and knowledge and ability to pass the information over the phone for the engineers to be able to complete their jobs on site. That task also included building a database to be able to track the tickets and issues raised by the on-site engineers.
Other project I was involved in was being assigned as Deskside Engineer at Argos HQ to serve as a first point of contact for all of the IT issues people in there might have. Thanks to my knowledge and experience I was able to sort out many issues without passing them on to 3rd Line Support. A lot of the tricks I have used I did pass to my colleagues so they can use them in future. Some of my former co-workers still refer to me for advice, when they get stuck.

Most of my tasks were working with some of the Fujitsu’s customers like Specsavers, Argos, Halfords, and Trains but at the moment I am ring-fenced to the Specsavers IMAC Team. Because of my performance on these assignments many of them have put me forward for performance award, and with Specsavers IMAC Team I have been given Team Leader role.

One of my biggest achievements was building from a scratch a MS Access database for Northamptonshire Police Traffic Management Department of Traffic Data Sites and the results from these. I have created a database and designed a user interface for use by my less IT orientated colleagues. I have also taken a secondment as a Systems Administrator, where I was responsible for maintaining PC’s and server rooms. One of the tasks on this secondment was cable management in server rooms (reconnecting most of points and outlets, and marking them accordingly).

Even when not working directly in the IT industry because of my knowledge and experience I was always a point of contact for my colleagues with all IT based questions and issues. Few companies that I worked in have used my IT skills to improve efficiency on the teams I was assigned. E.g. when working for Weston Favell Shopping Centre I had to rebuild and reinstall the main computer, that was responsible for running the whole of a CCTV system for the centre.
